We tend to think the pomegranate is underrated. This sweet fruit is one of the oldest in existence. The first records of it date back to 100 B.C. where it's thought to be native to Persia.

Some Biblical scholars even believe the pomegranate, not the apple, was the forbidden fruit in the Garden of Eden. Imagine Eve with a handful of those little red pom seeds!
