2020 U.S. Olympic Marathon Trials Qualifier, Impala Racing Team, Marketing Professional

Bridget is a San Francisco Bay Area native who runs for the Impala Racing Team, an elite development all women’s running team. She comes from a family of runners – she is coached by her father and is now following in her mother’s footsteps, who also raced in the 1984 Olympic Trials. Bridget qualified for the Olympic Trials at Grandma’s Marathon in 2018 running a personal best of 2:42.56. While training for her qualifying marathon, she worked full-time and also participated in a full-time Master’s program. Bridget is looking forward to toeing the line in Atlanta with her teammates!

The first time I used UCAN was the morning I qualified for the Olympic Trials at Grandma’s Marathon in 2018. Although you are always told to avoid doing anything new race day, this decision proved to be a good one! I felt fueled and energized going into the race with the extra calories that I’m usually not able to consume due to race morning nerves. I have now been fueling with UCAN pre- and post-workout and long runs with powders, protein bars, and hydration for a year and a half. I used to habitually get side-aches with other products and this never happens when I use UCAN. Most mornings I am rushing from a run to go to work and having the UCAN Performance Energy + protein gives me the initial nutrients I need in a short window after a workout before I am able to get myself breakfast at work. I love UCAN and can’t wait for even more products in the future!
