2020 U.S. Olympic Marathon Trials Qualifier, Coach, Certified Personal Trainer
Whitney grew up in Asheville, NC where she first fell in love with running on the mountain trails of Western North Carolina. After an undergraduate career at Harvard, she completed her eligibility at the University of New Mexico, running on the 2015 NCAA DI Cross Country National Championship team. Throughout her career, Whitney and her coaches began to realize that her strengths laid in distance running- the longer, the better! She qualified for the Olympic Trials at the Silo District Marathon with a time of 2:43:51.
UCAN keeps me energized during all aspects of training – before, during, and after my runs. Since using UCAN, I have seen the most significant change during the second half of my longer runs. At that point in the run when I used to feel fatigued without UCAN, now I feel so much stronger during those last several miles. Knowing I can depend on UCAN for all my energy needs takes the guesswork out of the equation, which gives me so much confidence in racing and training.
